A Dictionary of Business Terms and Data Items is shared across your organisation so that all projects are consistent in their use of terminology. The Dictionary also provides a searchable index of where terms have been used to support traceability and analysis of the impact of proposed changes.

Communication between projects is further enhanced by the use of a common language through the initial development life-cycle and the production lifetime of business applications.
