Do této rubriky jsou zařazené všechny nástroje, které umožňují správa verzí, či revizí. Tyto nástroje slouží pro správu změn v dokumentech, programech a dalších informacích, uložených jako soubory v počítači. Nejčastěji je tato kategorie využívaná právě při vývoji SW (nejen pro soubory se zdrojovým kódem, ale i další dokumenty, kde se sleduje verzování).
